Terms of Service

Last updated: May 5, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of workerscompcodes.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.

No insurance binder

Information presented on the Site, including class code descriptions, rate estimates, and calculator results, is for informational purposes only. Quotes shown on the Site or generated by our tools do not constitute a binding offer of insurance. Coverage is not in effect until a policy is issued and accepted by the insurance carrier and any required premium has been paid.

Not legal or tax advice

Content about state laws, exemptions, audits, sole proprietors, owners, and independent contractors is general information, not legal or tax advice. Workers' compensation rules vary by state and change over time. Consult an attorney, accountant, or licensed insurance professional before making decisions based on Site content.

Class code accuracy

NCCI class codes and state-bureau codes are managed by their respective rating organizations. We strive to keep code descriptions and rate ranges current, but classifications and rates change. The official classification for any business is determined by the carrier and applicable rating bureau, not by this Site.

Licensed agents

Quotes are placed through licensed insurance producers. Coverage is offered only in states where the producer holds the required licenses. We may refer you to a partner agency if we are not licensed in your state.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Site content is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorkersCompCodes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed $100.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
